Transfer registration online

You may be eligible to transfer your registration online. Transferring registration online is a 2-step process:

Step 1: The seller transfers the registration out of their name

Step 2: The buyer finalises the transfer and pays any fees and duty that apply.

Transfer registration in person

To transfer registration in person:

• both the seller and buyer must complete and sign the form
• the form must be lodged in person at a transport and motoring service centre.

This form can be signed digitally
